Messier Object M27, Dumbbell Nebula, Photo, Maps & Chart. At 8′ x 5.7′ and 7.4 magnitude, on a clear, dark night the Dumbbell Nebula is easily visible in binoculars. Because of it’s unique shape, it is a favorite among amateur astronomers.
