Messier Object M101, Pinwheel Galaxy,  Photo, Maps & Chart.
To see the spiral arms of the Pinwheel Galaxy will require a perfectly clear night under dark skies, a low power eyepiece and a fairly large telescope. Without these, NGC 5477, above left in the photo of M101, at Magnitude 13.9 may also be out of reach.
